Hi Andrea. How odd. I have seen your online portfolio when I was trying to figure out what url I should use. I'm still trying to figure out if I want to go back to a full-time position or continue doing freelance. It's been nice taking it slow and actually enjoying life. I know this will sound spooky, but I'm also Andrea Prieto, and you name just came up in the list of "People you might know" in linkedIn. What Is even more spooky is that I'm also in design and until a week ago I was also looking for a job and updating my online portfolio. The happy end of this story is that I found a job very soon, so I guess you'll find your's very soon too, heheheh, or I really hope so.

Yep, puppies are fun to have around although sometimes hard to train them.

Dren bought me the book, "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" by
Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows. It's a book of letters and romantic so it may not
be your genre. Give it a try anyway.

They just opened the island to the public. It's down by Nagasaki and I really want to see it. I think the tours are only during the summer. When I was planning this year's trip to Japan, it was on my itinerary.

Career in film? Doing what? Maybe that's why I enjoy working with on the Film Festival. You know me, I'm always open to new careers. I haven't figured out what I want to do when I grow up. Still working on that.

I feel the same way on almost everything you had issues with. I thought I am a realist. Most people usually says I'm a negative type. I'm working on it but most of the times I still don't know what is wrong with me being realistic while most people like to talk their ass off but never do anything about it. So if that is a "positive thinking", then I'm confused.

I used to be employed and I also feel guilty about leaving on time. So as the others, so it becomes a game where you have to find the 'best' time to leave.

I can't speak for you, in my case back then, economy has nothing to do with it. Busy or not, you were expect to show your "dedication" to the company. I can't say the same thing to the kind of economy we have now.

All in all, you aptly named your post. The grass is always greener on the other side but until you get there, you don't really know if it is greener. Oh well :)

cell phone, coughing and totally crowded streetcars.
